The Xtreme Defender is a Lehigh projectile that Delta Co Munitions has perfected. The XD ammunition line has an optimized nose flute, balanced total weight, and a produced velocity to achieve a penetration depth up to at least 17 inches with a permanent wound cavity (PWC). No other expanding protective round that Delta Co Munitions offers is comparable.

Delta Co Munitions Xtreme Defense rounds are capable of creating a PWC over 90% larger than any other projectile we offer. They have been shot through gel, wood or any common barrier we could test. Barrel length at 5″, with the bullet leaving the barrel at 1200FPS creating maximum stopping power without over penetration.
